Old Monastery of the Hieronymite order that was restored using stone and wood. It is situated in La Tuda, a small village in the Sayago region of Zamora, the natural border with Portugal. The Natural Park of Los Arribes del Duero is situated on his western boundary. It is perfect for those customers who are looking for peace and tranquility, surrounded by nature and aiming to discover Los Arribes, or the nearby and beautiful cities of Zamora and Salamanca. We have ensuite double, triple and quadruple bedrooms, and offer meals based on natural and home made food. Ah, we don´t have TVs!

Sustainable agriculture/ farming:

Our kitchen garden as well as our animals are organic. Furthermore, we try to buy food as natural as possible, and fortunately there is enough in our region.

Cultural Heritage and Rural Development:

Restoration was done with fine materials and is an example to our neighbours, who realized how it is possible to do beautiful things with local materials.

Natural Resources:

We try that our guests feel the same passion than us for ecological issues. On the website, we explain our philosophy of respect towards the environment, which it is perfectly summarized with the 3 R. We have solar pannels, tanks filled with rainwater, recycle packages, glass and paper, make compost…

Environmental protection:

On one hand, we do not advertise or offer activities that harm the environment such as quads, off-roads, paintballs, hunting.., and on the other hand, we make all possible for people to peacefully enjoy the environment, particularly children, to whom we teach how to care for the garden and animals.
